The UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) has released the notification for the year 2024. This year, there are a total of 1056 vacancies. Out of these, 40 vacancies are reserved for persons with disabilities. There are 12 vacancies for visually impaired candidates and 6 vacancies for candidates with hearing disabilities. Additionally, there are 9 vacancies for candidates with other disabilities. The last date to apply for the UPSC exam is 5th March. It is important to fill the form correctly and submit it before the deadline.
Application Process

To apply for the UPSC exam, candidates can visit the official website online.nic.in. They need to register themselves in the One-Time Registration (OTR) system before filling the application form. Once registered, candidates can fill in their details and make modifications if needed. The application fee can be paid online using Visa, MasterCard, or through SBI branches for cash payment. There is no application fee for female candidates, SC/ST candidates, physically disabled candidates, or candidates belonging to OBC/EWS categories.
